Acidic cleaners ACS 400, ACS 62 and PCS 62
ACS 400 and ACS 62 are low-odour acidic foam cleaners for lime scale, gypsum and other mineral deposits. PCS 62 is a non-foaming acidic cleaner for tanks, pipes and circulation cleaning. All three are chloride-free and ready to use.

ACS 400
The basic acidic foam cleaner. It removes hardened calcium carbonate, gypsum, calcium phosphate and oxalate deposits as well as organic dirt and slime. According to the manufacturer, the corrosion inhibitors passivate the metal surface slightly, which slows down new deposits.

- Headbox and short circulation
- Sizers, coating stations, stock preparation
- Screen baskets, heat exchangers, stainless steel structures
- Apply as a thick foam, wait 15–20 minutes, wash off with a high-pressure washer (at least 200 bar) and rinse with water for at least 15 minutes
ACS 62
Twice the acid content of ACS 400, for heavily scaled parts and hardened mineral deposits such as shower pipes, valves and pipework. Often the first cleaning is done with ACS 62 and maintenance cleaning with ACS 400. Wash off within 60 minutes and do not let the foam dry.
PCS 62
A non-foaming acidic cleaner for tanks, pipework, colour and retention lines and circulation cleaning of heat exchangers. It is chloride-free and does not contain phosphoric acid. Used during shutdowns inside tanks and pipes, not on open wet-end surfaces.
Materials and safety
- Suitable for steels and aluminium alloys. Not for zinc or galvanised surfaces.
- Copper and brass for a maximum of 20 minutes, cleaner temperature max. 30 °C
- Not for dryer fabrics or use during production
- Danger: H290, H314. Wear goggles, chemical-resistant clothing and rubber gloves.
- Transport: UN 3265, class 8, packing group II
Packaging and delivery
25 kg, 60 kg and 200 kg containers and 1,000 kg IBC, delivered from our warehouse in Kotka, Finland. Shelf life 2 years. Store at 5–30 °C.
